Supernova Computers was established in 1993 by its directors, Linda Liebenau and Gordon Birch with the aim of filling what they perceived as a gap in the information technology market place.

Since its inception Supernova has grown substantially to where it is today providing a comprehensive range of products and services to meet the needs of both retail and the small to medium business market.

In August 2001, Supernova joined one of Australia’s largest retail identities the Leading Edge Group. This union enabled Supernova’s shopfront retail section to provide an extremely competitive price on computers, peripherals and consumables. This union saw Supernova able to distribute a national Leading Edge Retail catalogue which it currently delivers to households in the Peel Region.

The membership to Leading Edge Group also allowed Supernova to benefit from the buying power of the group and to pass these benefits by way of a broader branded product market with competitive pricing to not only the retail sector but also its business customers.

Supernova’s customer base has increased from the local Mandurah area to the whole of the Peel Region and some southern Metro areas.

Due to its growth Supernova relocated in 2004 to Unit 1/58 Reserve Drive in the new Business Park Area. This allowed Supernova’s retail, administrative and technical services to be located under one roof.

The business is still managed by the directors and is committed to providing high-quality, value for money services for its clients. This strategy has lead to the creation of a number of key business relationships (see Partners) to enable it to provide new services, business solutions and products to both the retail and business customers.
